New for 2012: Dartmouth Steam Railway & River Boat Company Spring Food Fayre

21st, 22nd & 23rd May, 09:30-16:30 daily

Our brand new station at Paignton will be the setting for our very first Food Fayre - where we plan to offer you all manner of delicious Devonshire delicacies!

We'll have an appealing range of quality locally produced food and drink - whilst supporting our local businesses at the same time! Visitors to the Fayre will enjoy a lively and alternative food experience. All stalls will be under cover in a marquee.

A selection of our confirmed producers are:
• The Pancake Bar – savoury and sweet hot pancakes
• Sharpham wine and cheese – cheese and wine tasters
• Brimblecombes Cider – traditional cider and apple juice
• Dartmouth Ice Cream Company – ice cream and sorbets

Fish & Chip Suppers

Dates: 21st June, 26th July & 9th August
Locally sourced and delicious fresh fish & a glorious steam train journey through the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside.
Our supper is provided by The Ship Inn, Kingswear - a traditional, 15th century village pub. The Ship Inn has a restaurant serving seafood - which travels less than 200 yards from the fishing boat to the kitchen so you are assured of the very freshest fish! All produce is purchased from local suppliers and is freshly prepared and home-cooked on the premises.

£20.00 to include your train journey and fish & chip supper
£10.00 supplement if you wish to add the supper to your existing itinerary

Churston is the nearest station to the Fair. Catch our steam train to the 25th annual show.

Pennywell Farm's Animal Roadshow

Dates: 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August (09:30-12:30)

The Pennywell Farm Roadshow will be visiting the railway every Monday morning in August from 9.30am. There will be different animals to come and meet every week with anything from miniature piglets and ferrets to giant rabbits and tortoises. The Pennywell team will also be handing out some goodies to all the children.
