  1. Are dogs allowed?
    Yes, a nominal fee of £1 is charged on all our services.
  2. What age do you class as a child?
    3-15 years.  Under 3’s travel free, (this may vary on special event days)
  3. Why are the times of the boat cruises between Dartmouth and Totnes different each day?
    The River Dart is tidal so we have to work around the tides.
  4. What do you consider to be a concession?
    People aged 60 plus, carers and people who are wheelchair bound
  5. Do you offer footplates rides?
    No, due to insurance reasons we cannot offer footplates rides on this railway
  6. What is your access policy?

  7. Is there always an open top bus running?
    Sadly we cannot guarantee an open top bus will be running, even in good weather – it depends on servicing periods of our buses.  The weather does play a factor in our decision as well.  If you are particularly looking forward to this part of the journey, it is advisable to ring our Totnes office on 01803 862735.
  8. Can we reserve seats in The Devon Belle?
    Unfortunately this is on a first come first ‘seated’ basis.  You can privately hire The Devon Belle by calling 01803 555872.  There is a charge for this service.
  9. Can I charter a train/boat?
    Yes.  To charter one of our steam trains please call 01803 555872.  To charter one of our boats or buses please call 01803 834488.
  10. Can I use my concession pass on your buses?
    Yes.
  11. Do you have volunteers?

  12. How do I make a complaint?
