A short foot passenger ferry, takes you across the River Dart to the historic town of Dartmouth; home to the Britannia Royal Naval College, Bayards Cove, Butterwalk and Dartmouth Castle; England's first Castle to have guns as its main armament. To make a truly special day out, book one of our combined river excursions - Round Robin Trip or Steam & Cruise.

Travel on the steam train between now and the end of May and get a free trip on the Western Lady Ferry to Brixham or Torquay (click here for the Western Lady website).

The steam train does not operate in the months of November, January, February and March.
However, we do operate our fantastic Santa Steam Specials during December.

We really loved our day out with you last Wednesday, doing the Teignmouth Circular trip. Our favourite part was going by boat from Polly's Steps in Teignmouth down the coast to Dartmouth. The boat was so comfortable, the staff so welcoming and the coastline spectacular - the coffee wasn't half bad either! We felt so lucky and privileged to be there”
