Dartmouth Coastal Cruise

NO train services will operate on Weds 18th March. Steam trains and river cruises will run on Thurs 19th March and this will be our last operational day due to the current advice given regarding Coronavirus. This will be reviewed weekly.

Weather permitting the Dartmouth Coastal Cruise runs  from 1st May to 29th September. Enquire at our kiosk in Dartmouth for sailing dates and availability on the day.

A circular cruise with a difference from Dartmouth (and returning to Dartmouth) which takes you outside the estuary and along the coast towards Start Point. You will view the coastal villages of Stoke Fleming and Torcross, Blackpool Sands and the unique Slapton Sands used for training purposes during World War II in preparation for the D-Day landings (with a tragic enemy encounter on one particular night). You may also see some fantastic wildlife which inhabits the seas of the English Channel e.g. gannets, dolphins, etc.

Departs Dartmouth at 13:45 - length of tour, 1.5hrs.
