Dart Music Festival

Enjoying over 100 performances spanning nearly every musical genre, this now famous music festival offers a mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, and jazz performances at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues in the town of Dartmouth - including two churches, the bandstand in the Park, outside the castle, and various hotels, pubs, and restaurants, throughout the weekend. And most events are FREE! The Dart Music Festival's motto is "Music for All". Since it's inception in 1998, the Festival has attracted thousands of visitors and has become one of the stars in Dartmouth's calendar, appealing to old and young alike. There are many events from individual, group, and local school performances, to storytelling, dance displays and workshops.

- Highly recommend. - From boarding in Paignton, to alighting the ferry in Dartmouth, this journey has to be the best you can take on the English Riviera. It all goes by too quick. Highly recommend.
- Great little railway - You’re given allocated seats with your family bubble and it's all very secure. The carriages have had Perspex screens installed. All staff were friendly and helpful. We got some lovely pictures from the train.
- Excellent trip out - On recommendation from our hotel in Torquay we booked this and we were not disappointed. Steam train then ferry over to Dartmouth + a lovely river cruise for an hour included. We will visit again.
