Dart Music Festival
On 15th May 2026 to 17th May 2026 Dartmouth
Enjoying over 100 performances spanning nearly every musical genre, this now famous music festival offers a mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, and jazz performances at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues in the town of Dartmouth - including two churches, the bandstand in the Park, outside the castle, and various hotels, pubs, and restaurants, throughout the weekend. And most events are FREE! The Dart Music Festival's motto is "Music for All". Since it's inception in 1998, the Festival has attracted thousands of visitors and has become one of the stars in Dartmouth's calendar, appealing to old and young alike. There are many events from individual, group, and local school performances, to storytelling, dance displays and workshops.

- Harry Potteresque - Once on the platform we boarded the train (covid restrictions applied) and stepped back in time and themes of Harry Potters Hogwarts express sprang to mind! Brilliant!
- Superb - Just loved the steam train from Paignton and boat trip in Dartmouth. A real old fashioned journey, social distancing in place. Great scenery and v.friendly helpful crew.
- Brilliant day - Very pleasant day out, VERY well organised and friendly teams (train and ferry, especially in social distancing times). Would do it again and add the boat cruise.
