English Music Festival, Dartington

The 2026 English Music Festival will be held in the fabulous venue of Dartington Hall - Dartington village is very close to Totnes. Concerts will take place in the mediaeval Great Hall and talks in the Ship Studio.
Dartington is immensely appropriate for the EMF, being steeped in the history of English music, but the beautiful and atmospheric location, set as it is in gorgeous rolling hills with riverside walks, will enhance the experience!

- Harry Potteresque - Once on the platform we boarded the train (covid restrictions applied) and stepped back in time and themes of Harry Potters Hogwarts express sprang to mind! Brilliant!

- What a great trip! - A lovely time was had on this trip on the train itself and then river boat - we had the river trip on the paddler which was just perfect - a coal fired train and a coal fired boat! Enjoy.
