English Music Festival, Dartington
On 22nd May 2026 to 25th May 2026
The 2026 English Music Festival will be held in the fabulous venue of Dartington Hall - Dartington village is very close to Totnes. Concerts will take place in the mediaeval Great Hall and talks in the Ship Studio.
Dartington is immensely appropriate for the EMF, being steeped in the history of English music, but the beautiful and atmospheric location, set as it is in gorgeous rolling hills with riverside walks, will enhance the experience!

- Absolutely fabulous experience - The whole day was fabulous with great weather and steam trains. The line is one of the most scenic you will ever experience and is a must visit if in the area. I will definitely be back again :-)
- So organised - So well organised. All had seat reservations and the coaches were extremely clean. The river cruise did not disappoint and without doubt one of the best commentaries I have ever heard. Without exception everyone enjoyed the day out, and thought it was the highlight of our holiday. A credit to all.
- At last! - Went by steam train and ferry to Dartmouth on the last day of our holiday. Beautiful. Lovely journey on the steam train and the ferry was also a very pleasant trip. Spent a couple of hours in Dartmouth before repeating the journey. So glad I have managed to do it at last!
