England's seafood feast

On 21st September 2026 to 4th October 2026 Torquay

This two-week celebration of world-renowned local seafood will see the towns of Brixham, Paignton and Torquay join forces to host a seafood feast like no other, giving visitors the chance to join the locals and experience some of the best seafood in the world, right where it’s landed.  Highlights include everything from fine dining to street food and seafood celebration suppers to guest chef events. This isn't a conventional festival with a big marquee - instead you can enjoy a whole range of things to eat and do at venues across Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.

This is a fantastic opportunity to eat lots (and lots) of world-class fish. The best seafood restaurants across Torbay offer an array of set menus and events to tantalise your taste buds, all featuring Brixham seafood. There are also cookery workshops, wine tastings and coastal foraging. So whether your taste is for fish and chips overlooking the sea, a seafood tasting menu or super fresh sushi they’ve got it covered.

  • All lovely - All done very well. Everything clean (train/boats), staff friendly and commentary on the river cruise added a bit of fun. Really good day out, lots of families. Take hats, drinks and dogs! If you have one.
  • Chugging along! - The cruise along the River Dart was delightful and the witty commentary was also very informative. The last leg on the steam train was fantastic - chugging along past the beautiful beaches with children waving to you from the sands. Just priceless! We had the most amazing day, the itinerary is done with military precision and is therefore relaxing and exciting - we really loved it. This has got to be a "must do" trip!
  • At last! - Went by steam train and ferry to Dartmouth on the last day of our holiday. Beautiful. Lovely journey on the steam train and the ferry was also a very pleasant trip. Spent a couple of hours in Dartmouth before repeating the journey. So glad I have managed to do it at last!
