Sea Change Totnes

On 27th May 2022 to 29th May 2022 Totnes

Sea Change is back in the flesh following the last event online in 2020 - hurray!

Since its inception in 2016, Sea Change has offered exciting events in music, art, film, literature, conversation and culture. Founded by Totnes by the award-winning Drift Record Shop and working alongside their favourite thinkers, speakers and players, each happening and iteration from the programme is memorable and unique. Previously inhabiting a 16th-century historic guildhall, the 550 year old “blood-red” St Mary’s Church, a Civic Hall, a grade II listed modernist Lescaze masterpiece, an unoccupied 1950’s gymnasium, the 15th century Dartington Great Hall and a bucolic set of English fields. Sea Change provides memorable showcases and collaborations for intimate audiences.

2022 also sees a performance (unfortunately for those of us without a ticket) by Kiefer Sutherland. Yes, THE Kiefer Sutherland. Apparently no end to his talents....!

Sea Change is always intimate, always different, always special, always rare.

Reviews

  • Perfect day - We have done this several times over the years and is a fantastic day out. The steam train ride is great, but the cruise makes it. The commentary is very good and funny. Would definitely recommend this trip if in the area.
  • Amazing - Best day out of our holiday. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It’s such great value for money and honestly such a special day out for all. We will definitely be back!
  • Trip back in time - What a fantastic experience. The train ride from Paignton is a gentle trip with stunning views. Arriving in Kingswear you can almost imagine how people in days gone by must have felt. A short ferry ride takes you into Dartmouth which is a stunning little town.
