The 70th Sidmouth Folk Festival Week
On 1st August 2025 to 8th August 2025 Sidmouth Town
The first Sidmouth Folk Festival took place in 1955 and every August since then tens of thousands of visitors have flocked to this beautiful coastal town to sample some wonderfully diverse musical offerings. The festival now extends to a whole week with well known stars, new talent, major concerts and smaller gatherings all jostling for your attention.
The streets and music venues are full of atmosphere and the holidaymakers and locals mingle together throughout the town to create a fantastic summer event mood and character.

- Harry Potteresque - Once on the platform we boarded the train (covid restrictions applied) and stepped back in time and themes of Harry Potters Hogwarts express sprang to mind! Brilliant!
