HRA Award

We were proud to be nominated (and win!) the Heritage Railway Association (HRA) award for outstanding tourist attraction of theyear 2021 for the pioneering and enterprising way in which we (as a major heritage line and tourism attraction) worked against the clock to break vast amounts of new ground in readiness for the resumption of summer services following the lifting of the first Covid-19 lockdown on 6th July 2020.

- What a great trip! - A lovely time was had on this trip on the train itself and then river boat - we had the river trip on the paddler which was just perfect - a coal fired train and a coal fired boat! Enjoy.
- Steam train - Great little day out - highly recommended. The boat trip up the dart was very good with the captain guiding us and the steam train was great for kids too.
- An enjoyable day! - Had a wonderful day riding on the steam railway and a boat trip along the River Dart. Excellent scenery along the coast. The ferry was quick and efficient.
