Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta

Here at the Dartmouth Steam Railway, we are running additional trains on Regatta Saturday, 31st August. Extra trains depart Paignton at 18:00, 19:45 and 21:00 with returning trains from Kingswear at 18:40, 20:20 and 22:00. This last departure leaves you plenty of time to watch the fireworks and catch the ferry back to Kingswear for your return journey.

The river cruise did not disappoint and without doubt one of the best commentaries I have ever heard. Without exception everyone enjoyed the day out, and thought it was the highlight of our holiday. After using the ferry to cross the river we went to find somewhere to have a snack before getting onto the cruise.
