Gift Shop
While you are here, and certainly before you leave, be sure to visit the gift shop for souvenirs (and the café for hot and cold drinks and snacks). We have a wide range of gifts and souvenirs that are appropriate for both kids and grown-ups! From school supplies, keyrings and pens to books, jigsaw puzzles, mugs and jewellry. Snow globes, containers, magnets and postcards can likewise be obtained here amongst an array of other lovely things!
You'll find the gift shop just beyond the Booking Hall when you arrive and buy your tickets - followed by the Head of Steam Café before your entrance to the platform for the steam trains.

- At last! - Went by steam train and ferry to Dartmouth on the last day of our holiday. Beautiful. Lovely journey on the steam train and the ferry was also a very pleasant trip. Spent a couple of hours in Dartmouth before repeating the journey. So glad I have managed to do it at last!
- Charming - We did a round trip from Totnes to Dartmouth. The trip was wonderful with clean comfortable boat, nice staff and excellent commentary (and nice refreshments). On the return we were treated to an extra spin past the two castles at the mouth of the estuary. Marvelous.
- An A+ family experience! - >Excellent time< We arrived at the station to friendly welcome and were greeted by a jolly bloke who gave us an upgrade to a cabin on our own which made us feel like Harry Potter! He gave us lots of info about timings and what amount of time we had been given to allow us to make sure we got back okay. A great time.
